.....Huang, X., Hsiao, E., Runshe, D., & Lunce, L. (2009). Faculty use and perception of blog activities for instruction. In Proceedings of Society for Information Technology and Teacher Education International Conference 2009 (pp. 1892-1897). Chesapeake, VA: AACE.
.....Blogging has been increasingly used as an instructional tool in the classroom. The purpose of the study was to investigate how faculty use and assess blog activities and their perception of the activity's impact on reflection, deep learning, and collaboration. Instructors at a public state university in the U.S. were surveyed using a multi-item online questionnaire. The results showed that most faculty members have positive perceptions on using blogs as an instructional tool. The results are discussed and the implications of the findings are also provided.
